Biosystems Engineering Students from Universitas Brawijaya Intern at NPUST, Taiwan

Three students from the Department of Biosystems Engineering, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya, have been granted a unique opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge through an international research internship program. Shauqi Abdai Lubis, Doni Rizqi Setiawan, and Nouval Dinillah are participating in a three-month research internship at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan.

This internship is funded by IIPP provided by the Taiwanese government, reflecting high confidence in the selected students’ capabilities and potential. During their internship, they will be stationed at the Laboratory of Biosystems Thermal Fluidic Analysis, Department of Biomechatronics at NPUST, where they will work under the guidance of experts in the field.

The primary focus of their research internship is on the development of portable PCR systems, a cutting-edge technology for DNA detection. This system has important applications in various fields such as biomedical, forensic, and agricultural sciences. This internship not only provides them with the opportunity to engage in innovative applied research but also allows them to collaborate with high-tech researchers and practitioners from around the world.

Through this activity, Universitas Brawijaya reaffirms its commitment to enhancing its students’ competencies through international exposure and cross-national cooperation in highly relevant scientific and technological fields in today’s global era.
