Graduate Data

Graduates of BSAE Study Program working in various fields, i.e. in education, government, industrial companies, and also be entrepreneur. BSAE graduates working in industries, including food and financial industries. Users (universities, schools, institutes, industry) are stakeholders which are necessary for curriculum development. Feedbacks from stakeholders have a notable role in curriculum design and development also questionnaire of BSAE graduates performance. In addition to providing feedback via questionnaires, stakeholders also involved in curriculum workshops conducted every two years. In curriculum workshop, stakeholders were asked to provide suggestion about the learning material (courses) as well as soft skills needed by BSAE graduates.


Duration to get a job (Employability of graduates)

Tracer study program is carried out periodically to get data from alumni. As mentioned in criteria 13.05 from Tracer Study Report on 2012 shows that average time of graduate to get the first job is 2.97 months. This data is seized from tracer study of random graduates. The sampling number is 62 graduates. The data revealed that 27 alumni out of 62 still work at their first job and 34 alumni (54.84%) declare that duration to get the first job are less than 3 months. To be concluded the duration for the fresh graduates to get job is relatively fast (average duration less then 3 months).

Percentage of graduates that is working at an appropriate work field for their skill is 77.42%. There are 48 graduate out of 62 survey’s samples that is working at field related to agricultural engineering i.e. food processing industry such as PKIS Sekar Tanjung, PT Dupont Indonesia, Syngenta, PTPN XII, Ajinomoto, PT Sosro, and Indolakto; other industry i.e. PT Holcim, JNN Engineering Consultans, etc.


Frequency of Applying for a Job

Total number of respondents applying for a job to get a job currently categorized as follows 1 times, 2-5 times, 6-10 times, 11-20 times, and> 20 times. Respondents who answered as many as 59 people. The largest percentage found in the category of 2-5 times in applying for a job is equal 32%. The smallest percentage found in the category of 11-20 times apply for a job is equal 8%. Total number of respondents for an interview to get a job currently categorized as follows 1 times, 2-5 times, 6-10 times, 11-20 times, and> 20 times. Respondents who answered as many as 60 people. The largest percentage found in the category of 2-5 times in applying for a job is equal 42%. While the smallest percentage found in the category of> 20 times applying for a job is equal 5%.
